Put your finger anywhere on the screen and drag. The explorer moves exactly as far and as fast as your finger. Eat 5 fruits, dodge the snakes and reach the hut (home) to clear the level. Level 1 shows you every step with a pointing hand.

The door opens only when both are true:

• You have 5 fruits. Fruits pop up one at a time, blink twice and vanish, so grab them quickly. The counter next to the Hiss Meter shows how many you have; extra fruits carry over to the next level.
• You are Normal size or smaller. Touching insects or a snake's body makes you bigger (Tiny → Small → Normal → Big → Huge). Pick up a Jadi-buti on the map, or tap the Jadi-buti button at the bottom, to shrink one size.

Your size is shown at the top-left, next to your score.

If you are already Huge and grow again, you lose the run. Watch your size and collect Jadi-buti to stay small. When you lose, you can watch a short video to continue right where you were (up to 2 times per try).

Yes. When a snake gets you (from Level 2 on), a "Keep Going?" screen appears: watch a short video to continue on the spot, with a few seconds of protection. You can do this up to 2 times per try. Say "No thanks" and the level starts again from the beginning (this uses one life).

Herbs appear on the map. Touch one to collect it, then tap its button at the bottom of the screen to use its power:

• Neem – Snake Repel: snakes keep away from you.
• Tulsi – Guard Shield: snakes and insects cannot hurt you or make you bigger.
• Amla – Swift Feet: you move faster.
• Ashwagandha – Deep Freeze: snakes freeze in place.
• Brahmi – Sharp Sight: shows you a safe path to home.

New herbs unlock as you reach higher levels.

The Hiss Meter at the top fills when a snake's head passes really close to you. Pass a snake while the meter is at 80 or more and time slows down for a moment: you earn 1 Hiss Venom for the Venom bottle button at the bottom, next to Vision (each snake can give it once per level, up to 100 stored).

Tap the Venom button to switch on Venom Mode: snakes cannot bite you or make you bigger while it lasts. It uses 2 venom a second; tap it again to stop early and keep the rest. You cannot earn new venom while Venom Mode is on.

You start with 3 lives. Losing a level (except Level 1) costs one life. Lives refill by one every 15 minutes up to 3, and you get a free daily bonus. You can hold up to 10 lives.

• Wait for the timer.
• Watch a short video ad (up to 2 per day).
• Invite friends: when a friend installs HissRun from your invite link, you get a life (up to 3 per day).
• Craft a life from Jadi-buti and herbs in the Herbs tab.

Sometimes there is no ad to show, for example with a weak internet connection or right after the game is first released. Please try again a little later. If you close an ad before it ends, you do not get the life.

Every 11th level is a Hard level with more and faster snakes. The two levels after a Hard level are a little easier, and you always get extra herbs on Hard levels.

The Mission tab has 3 daily missions (new every day) and long-term milestones. Finish them and tap CLAIM for rewards. Open the game every day to grow your daily streak and earn bigger rewards.

You collect coins while you play. Spend them in the Shop on ten 3D characters (like Ninja, Fire Warrior and Legendary), colourful trails and other cosmetics, or on a herb boost before a level. Characters only change your look, never the difficulty.

The Rank tab shows the top players for Today, this Week, this Month and All-Time, with the top three on a podium. Today/Week/Month count the points you score in that time; All-Time has categories such as total score, highest level and stars. Switch to Friends to compare with friends who joined through your invite link. You need an internet connection to see it.

Your progress is saved on your device and backed up online. Players aged 13 or older can tap Settings → Link Google Account, then sign in with the same Google account on the new phone to keep their progress.
